Once the quote is returned to CES-LANDTEC, the instrument is serviced. Below are some
typical services:
- Internal filters changed
- All internal filters are replaced.
- Oxygen (O2) cell re-calibrated
-
The oxygen sensor will be re-calibrated, as the sensor output changes
during its life-span this is usually carried out on all analyzers. This
includes checking the 'RAW' value output of the sensor at various oxygen
concentrations and with the use of proprietary software the instrument
is programmed with the oxygen sensor characteristics.
- Barometric sensor re-calibrated
-
The barometric sensor will be re-calibrated, as the sensor output may
change during its life-span.
This includes checking the 'RAW' value output of the sensor at known
pressure levels and with the use of proprietary software the instrument
is programmed with the sensor characteristics.
- Methane (CH4) and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) sensors re-calibrated
-
The CH4 and CO2 sensors will be re-calibrated with the use of a temperature
controlled environment and sophisticated computer analysis techniques.

- All necessary modifications performed
-
The gas analyzer will automatically be upgraded with any
necessary developments/modifications introduced in the period from
the last service return.
- Approved repairs
-
Any repairs quoted and accepted by the customer will be carried out.
Once servicing, repairs and calibrations are completed, the instrument goes through a Quality Control/Quality Assurance check.
