Smart, Portable Surface Gas DetectionSEM-500 is a compact, microprocessor based instrument used to monitor the air above the surface of the landfill for methane emissions. The SEM-500 is a Flame Ionization Detector (FID) that includes the DataField SEM module software and an enhanced wand. The enhanced wand features a display screen that allows the field technician to carry the instrument in a backpack carrier and operate the instrument conveniently.
